• Certificate in Learn to Play Therapy: Application for Individual Therapy & Groups of Schools Children (Karen Stagnitti)
• Certificate in The Hanen Programme: 4 “I”s to Socialize

Brandon is a fun, compassionate and patient therapist whom children quickly warm to. He values building close therapeutic relationships with the children he works with, the families he supports, and the teaching staff involved in a child’s care.

Brandon graduated with a Bachelors of Health Science, majoring in Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology (AUT New Zealand). He has since completed a Certificate in Learn to Play Therapy: Application for Individual Therapy& Groups of Schools Children (Karen Stagnitti), as well as, a Certificate in The Hanen Programme: 4 “I”s to Socialize. Brandon has also has participated in specific training around DIR Floortime and the Handwriting Without Tears programme.

Brandon is confident with the administration of a variety of clinical assessments, formulating effective treatment plans and carrying out Occupational therapy treatment sessions with children in groups, as well as individuals. He currently practices across a variety of settings, such as in a therapy clinic, within a child’s own home, and in the school environment.

Brandon has experience supporting children with varying developmental challenges such as; Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyspraxia and Dysgraphia. He has sound understanding of motor skill development milestones, academic learning delays and how sensory processing impacts learning andbehaviour.

Brandon strives to be an effective facilitator in every child’s developmental journey through a child centred approach, focusing on the skills needed to enable participation, independence and confidence.
