Paediatric Occupational therapy is specialist support focussing on building specific pre-requisite skills relating to childhood occupations. In the school environment, these are the skills needed to pay attention, be independent with tasks, participate fully in learning opportunities, meet classroom behavioural expectations and access learning to meet year/grade level curriculum demands.
There is no parenting manual, and sometimes caring for children is tough! We want to acknowledge that parents often need some support too, we are able to offer this through parent coaching. This service is currently online.
